Sandeep Narwal the previous Telugu-Titans & Patna-Pirates star will turn out for the Puneri-Paltan for the upcoming 5th season of the Pro-Kabaddi-League. The 24th year old is one of the best all rounder in the commerce & was bought by the Paltan Pirates for Rs.66Lakhs in the recently concluded auction.
In an talk with the Rajasthan Patrika he exposed that he learnt the actions of the trade by following senior players & watching their video after downloading them from YouTube. He said ‘In our village Kathura in sonipat Haryana, there’s only one game:– kabaddi. everybody there, young or old plays kabaddi there & since I had been watching it so strongly while growing up I also got hooked to it.’
‘When the Pro-Kabaddi-League started, I wanted to join a team. I started work & improving my health by playing with the older players in the village. But I knew that to achieve the top level, I would want to hone my technical skills as well’ he added.
‘The moves the older players did on the carpet I tried to follow them. For this I would download videos from YouTube & watch them to study. Our family’s financial situation was not best but it was still not an obstruction’ exposed Narwal. ‘Thankfully my hard work & dedication paid off & I was select by the Patna-Pirates in the first season’
